Blast from the Past

VJC has produced amateur video footage of performances of world-class artists since Uman and Borrero took the helm in 1997. This Blast from the Past section offers full concerts and selections of concerts that took place between 1997-2019. All this material is unique and was shot at the VJC. We will present one Blast from the Past selection in each of our upcoming series, once every four months. Upcoming rare gems include videos of concerts with Sheila Jordan and Steve Kuhn, John Abercrombie Trio, Louis Hayes Quartet, Jensen Sisters, and others. 

Note: highlights of performances that have taken place after 2019 will be found in the “concerts” portion of this archive portal; they are of professional quality, thanks to videographer, Michael Hanish.
